When Oderela first started, the goal was simple: make it possible for people in Gilgit-Baltistan to order from local businesses and have it arrive at their door. The response from customers and businesses pushed us to move faster than we expected.
Gilgit City is that next step, and it is running now. If you are there, you can order today — no waiting list, nothing to sign up for.
Where we are now
Oderela is live in two places across Gilgit-Baltistan:
- Gahkuch Town — in District Ghizer
- Gilgit City
Riders, outlets and delivery zones are running in both.
Why this step was the hard one
Expanding outside a town you already know is always the difficult part. In Gahkuch you already had riders, outlets and streets you understood. In Gilgit City all of it had to be built from scratch — recruit and train riders, onboard restaurants and shops, map the zones, then earn the trust of people who have no reason to give you theirs.
Gilgit City is where we proved the model travels. Now that we have done it once, the next town is a repeat of a process we already know rather than a first attempt.
What to expect in a new area
The same experience you already know: local outlets, cash on delivery, fast service. We onboard restaurants and shops in each new area before we open publicly, so there is something to order on day one rather than an empty catalogue.
What happens next
We keep going outward, town by town across Gilgit-Baltistan and Northern Pakistan, and we only announce a town once it is actually open. If you read about an area on this site and then try to order there, you are looking at something that is already running.
